I’ve recently come to the conclusion that I don’t read enough and should be benefiting more from the insights of giants in our industry both past and present. So I’ve created this section to encourage me to read more widely. I’ll start by putting up some thoughts on books I’ve read in the past but I hope it will guilt me into reading further. To start with I want to get through some of the classics:

• Domain-Driven Design: Tackling Complexity in the Heart of Software by Eric Evans;
• Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture by Martin Fowler; and
• Enterprise Integration Patterns: Designing, Building, and Deploying Messaging Solutions by Gregor Hohpe and Bobby Woolf

Extrapolating from my current rate that will probably take a fair few months. I’m always interested in recommendations, not just books, but also podcasts and online talks.
